Welcome to Maple Island Quilts
Quilt patterns from Maple Island Quilts are just a bit untraditional.
These up tempo and slightly contemporary quilt patterns are fun
to stitch and achievable for most skill levels. There are no templates
used in Maple Island Quilts' patterns, instead you will find clever
cutting and often unexpected block rotations to make these quilts
work.
There are bold looks and clean design lines that allow you to
put your own look into the quilt through fabric selection, block
rotations and placement.

Debbie Bowles writes and publishes these innovative single quilt
patterns for her company, Maple Island Quilts. A new project book,
Quilts for the Dorm, was released in 2005 and Yikes in 2006. Debbie
has also written Cutting Curves from Straight Pieces and Dancing
Quilts from Straight Pieces both published by American Quilters
Society.
You may have seen Debbie on Simply Quilts shows #622 - Confusion
and #749- Pagodas, on HGTV or DIY. She has also appeared on M’Liss’s
World of Quilts on PBS, series 100- #9 Snibbles and most recently
on American Quilter, episode 11-Bent Pieces from Cutting Curves
from Straight Pieces on the Lifetime Real Women channel.
